Taizé service

Taizé Service

On the 1st Sunday monthly at 6:30 pm. A service by candlelight drawing on the music and spirituality of the Taizé community. Forty minutes of music, prayer and reflection.

AAlpha Courselpha

The Alpha Course provides an opportunity to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. Click here to find out more, including when the next course starts.

Newport Minster Coffee Shop

Open 10 am to 12:30 pm every day except Sunday and during services, the coffee shop is a place to relax, to find a listening ear, and enjoy the special presence of the Minster.

Fairtrade Coffee, tea and home-made cakes.

Tuesday Drop In

Every Tuesday, 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, at Newport Parish Centre.

  • Craft and other stalls
  • Breakfast
  • Coffee, tea, cakes
  • Light lunches

All our food is home-made, the menu is different each week and prices are low.

Gospel Choir

​For all ages – you just need to enjoy singing! Every Wednesday, 7 pm to 8:30 pm, at the Minster.
