How can I get involved?

There are many ways you can get involved with the work of Newport Minster. The Minster relies on volunteers to keep the building open six days a week welcoming visitors and worshippers to the Minster.

Our Churchwarden is always looking for volunteers to help with services, civic services and post service refreshments.

Our Visitor Experience team have a number of volunteer posts available including

Visitor Experience volunteers – providing a warm welcome to The Minster
Minster Café volunteers – serving food and drink to the café patrons
Education/learning volunteers – supporting school and educational visits to The Minster
Volunteer tour guides – giving short tours of The Minster to visitors
Events Volunteers – helping with our events, both big and small
Volunteer Photographers – capturing events and activities at The Minster

There are also other roles that pop up in the life of a busy church.

How can I get involved?
